I'm sure you're thinking of Oleander's "Fever Dreams" website. She
really covers that territory.

I can't remember what she said to me last time I heard from her after
she assumed the lowest profile possible without taking a long dirt nap.
But I do know the site isn't active now, although you can get there
from here: http://cordmeyer.spymac.com/

The girl is sharp and somewhat twisted--the perfect hostess for mad
interpretations of Steely Dan lyrics.

about SD songs.....and that is:

Although it's true that many of the songs that populate the SD library
are indeed about drugs/drug use, it's a simplistic and somewhat
ignorant statement (not trying to be disparaging towards you with the
term "ignorant"-just "not aware" is what I am implying, please do not
take it personally or as an insult) to generalize that ALL SD songs are
in fact drug related.
As far as interpretation of individual songs, I have made the mistake
of getting into heated discussions with danfans in regard to this, and
it's in line with religion and politics; best just to leave it alone!
